**Position Summary**
Lantern is seeking an experienced mobile engineer to help fight censorship around the world through our censorship circumvention tool.

Lantern uses a variety of networking and protocol tricks to sneak traffic past censors in some of the most repressive censoring countries in the world. On the Lantern team, you will be a part of consistently deploying protocols and strategies that have never been used on the internet before. For mobile development, we make heavy use of Flutter and Go. Experience with networking and full stack engineering is also encouraged.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transform business requirements into creative solutions and stylish UI pages
- Proven ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in small, remote teams.
- Build intuitive, engaging and progressive user interactions for mobile apps
- Deliver well-defined features of small to medium complexity on a regular basis
- Debug and fix issues in development, testing, and production
- Participate in software design for features and bug fixes

**Required Qualifications**:

- Fluency in Mandarin is required
- 2+ years of experience with native Android or iOS development
- Strong proficiency with Dart, including Flutter
- Knowledge of mobile development best practices
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as REST, GraphQL, etc
- Expert proficiency in Flutter for Android and iOS
- Strong foundations in the principles of visual display of information
- Experience working with popular libraries for networking, asynchronous, image loading, etc.
- Action oriented & excellent analytical and creative thinking

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience developing Windows Services
