Shipbrokers act as intermediaries between two parties in the shipping industry.
**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Head of Dry Cargo, you will lead the Dry Operations Desk in our Singapore office to provide operations support to the Dry Cargo Desk in the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Dry Operations team in end-to-end vessel operations matters to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
- First point of contact for all matters within the area of responsibility including but not limited to monitoring vessel’s movement and performance, resolving complex deliveries, disputes, and claims.
- Ensure effective and timely communication between owners, charterers and brokers on operational matters.
- Lead the development of workflow improvements and shipping operations processes to achieve process efficiency and excellence.
**Education, Experience and Skills**
- Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies or equivalent.
- Proven track record of Dry Operations experience in multiple markets with at least 5 years in successful team leadership role.
- Well experienced in handling vessels operations and have good knowledge/understanding of Dry Cargo Shipping.
- Display strong leadership skill and effective interpersonal communication skill.
