**Your role**
- Do you have experience with all legal and regulatory matters related to private equity real estate, infrastructure, and other real assets (experience in aircraft, vessel or vehicle will be a plus)? Are you a legal counsel focused on fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt financing, ESG and general corporate transactions?
- We’re looking for a real estate and private markets legal counsel to:
- provide our Real Estate & Private Markets business (REPM) in APAC with high-quality legal advice and solutions that balance commerciality and risk management for the entire life cycle of REPM funds and mandates in APAC, as well as strategic initiatives and projects;
- take ownership of workstreams and projects, including fund formation, investment, acquisition, joint venture, debt borrowing, asset management, vendor engagement, sale and exit;
- partner with REPM APAC business teams to deliver on the client promise and to protect and raise UBS's reputation; and
- update stakeholders timely and escalate appropriately.

**Your team**
- You will be working in the Asset Management legal team in APAC. You will focus on delivering high-quality legal advice and solutions to our REPM business teams in APAC, so that they will receive timely, accurate and coherent legal services.
- You will work in a collaborative and international environment, with plenty of opportunities to work on a wide range of interesting projects to grow your career.

**Your expertise**
- You have:
- worked as legal counsel within an international asset manager or international law firm for ideally 4 to 6 of years, focusing on fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt financing, ESG and general corporate transactions;
- experience with private equity real estate, infrastructure, and other real asset (experience in aircraft, vessel or vehicle will be a plus); and
- a law degree and are admitted to practice law in a common law jurisdiction such as Singapore, England and Wales, Hong Kong, Australia (Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland) or the United States (New York, California)

- fluent in English (additional Asian languages will be an asset)
