**Summary**
To protect the well-being of every person in the building.
To protect life and property.
To minimize the risks of crime and other disasters, for example theft, fraud, fire, flood, civil disorder, violence and act of sabotage.

**Responsibilities**
Assist the Assistant Security Manager in managing and organizing the Department.
Delegate and supervise the safety, security and fire evacuation operation from the hotel.
Maintain good guest relations and provide customer services.
Conduct regular checks on his staff to ensure that they are alert and discharging their duties
Train and instruct subordinates on security matters and emergencies.
Assist the Assistant Security Manager in his day to day operations and administration duties.
Enforce Hotel's rules and regulations.
Enforce discipline and report on incidents of indiscipline observed as appropriate.
Investigation on all cases reported.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE 'O' Level, or its equivalent
- At least 2 years in the Security industry, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Background in Law Enforcement Agencies/ Armed Forces would be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and employees.
- Possess an outgoing and pleasant disposition
- Some experience in Fire Safety
- Some experience in Car Park Operations
- Knowledge and familiar with the operations:

- CCTV operations
- Fire Alarm System
- Public Address System
- Lift Monitoring System
- Lift Monitoring System
- Advantageous if familiar with the operations:

- Card Access System
- Room Keycard System
- Conduct Investigations:

- Investigation procedures
