You will have exposure to client partners and collaborate closely with them to design the next generation therapeutics for manufacturability. Come join us and be part of our journey to becoming the premier partnership development and manufacturing organization in Asia Pacific **Responsibilities** - Design and implementation of bioanalytical assays to support the manufacture of gene therapies and related materials e.g. plasmid DNA, lentiviral vectors, AAV vectors, mRNA and/or lipid nanoparticles. - Work closely with upstream (cell culture), downstream processing and formulation departments to identify pain points that could be resolved by the development of new bioanalytical techniques. - Write well-structured and comprehensive SOPs. - General upkeep of the laboratory, including maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory management. **Job Requirements** - A background in Biotechnology, Bioengineering or equivalent and one of the following (advanced degrees preferred): - Bachelors in a Life Science discipline + at least 5 years of relevant working experience, or - Master's degree + at least 3 years of relevant working experience, or - PhD + at least 1 year of relevant working experience - Experience with mammalian cell culture. - Experience with one of the following: - ELISA, or - Flow cytometry, or - Chromatography and/or Mass spectrometry - Preferred: expertise in cell-based assays e.g. quantifying gene copy number, or screening for replication competent retroviruses or adventitious viruses. - Preferred: experience designing qPCR or ddPCR assays. - Experience with process and/or formulation development will be highly valued. - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills - Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work and able to work flexible hours - Ability to multitask, work independently and team player. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills - Work authorization in Singapore **Salary Range (SGD)** $6,500 - $9,500
