Job Summary
To be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (Lens formulation materials, in-process solutions, in-package saline solutions) Operations in our Tuas Plant.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performs routine and non-routine processes in chemical production operations- Helps manage and maintain chemical production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. cycle count), maintenance and compliance- Assumes full responsibility in maintaining training on the required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)- Participates and/or initiate projects that improve process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost- Knows, understands and complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines. Reports any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases- Knowledgeable in safe handling of chemicals/waste disposal- Supports implementation of Data Integrity (DI) Program for the site
Job Requirement:
- At least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.- Comfortable to be lifting heavy weights- Forklift Licence is an advantage
