Job Responsibilities
- Data gathering, consolidation, analysis and reporting of safety statistics e.g. manhours, incidents, KPIs, etc. for all current projects to be presented to management every month and during annual HSEQ review.
- Independently analyze the HSE information submitted from the Project HSE Manager and propose correction or improvement, so that the information is fully in line with the HSEQ reporting requirements and / or continuous improvements from HSSE Dept.
- Management of various safety data in MIMS i.e. uploading of entries and exporting logs for trending, including system support locally and coordination of issues to Global HSEQ team.
- Present HSE induction for new joiners in the shipyard.
- Arrangement, recording and monitoring of trainings both computer-based and instructor-led; updating of safety training matrix.
- Recording of safety observations, submissions and generating CAPAs as appropriate; tracking of open CAPAs to close-out and follow-up with assigned party as necessary.
- Organize, plan and report internal HSE audits in compliance to ISO14001 & ISO45001 and MODEC HSEQ Standards. Participate during external audits by providing document evidences and responses; assist in the preparation and completion of internal audits organized by the Project HSE and HSE Manager.
- Provide administrative support to HSE Manager, Project HSE team and the Department.
- Maintain safety notice boards and facilitate PPE issuance.
HSSE Requirements and Code of Conduct: HSSE: Act in compliance with the corporate HSSEQ Management System Policy, the MODEC Life Saving Rules, and the policies, guides, process standards and work instructions available in the Integrated Management System (IMS). Act to promote the preservation of the environment, the health and occupational safety (personnel and their team), the safety of processes, and the preservation of assets in their scale of responsibility. Ethics and Compliance: In compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, as well as with MODEC Group Ethics and Compliance Policies and Local Procedures, their respective forms, online and live mandatory trainings: is committed to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and obligations and act in accordance with the highest ethical standards and with MODEC values. Emergency Plan: As per indication on the Training Matrix, Emergency Management Guide and Offshore Emergency Management, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Diploma/Degree in HSE safety or related engineering field/discipline.
- Minimum 5 years and above of related HSE safety administrative experience in the similar and/or related industry.
- Preferred to have ISO 45001 Internal Auditor and ISO 14001 Internal Audit certification are added advantages.
- Able to work in a fast-pace and shipyard environment.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of using Content Builder Software is also added advantage.
- Spoken and Written English is expected
