Responsible for Monitoring and advising contractors on vector control, solid waste management, noise and dust pollution control, drainage and silt control, general housekeeping management of the project/site,etc.
- Maintain and implement the company’s Environmental (ENV) management system, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Review and suggest improvements for the ENV system to enhance effectiveness and ensure legal compliance.
- Conduct environmental inspections, address non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are completed with evidence.
- Investigate environmental incidents (e.g., pollution, pests, waste) and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop and deliver training on pollution, pest, and waste control to maintain awareness.
- Provide advice during project planning on noise, air, water pollution, waste management, and public engagement.
- Collaborate with project teams to uphold environmental standards and company policies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an ECO in the construction industry
- Preferably with recent HDB project working experience.
- Registered NEA ECO
- Possess a “Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Earth Control Measures (ECM) for Construction Site Personnel” (ie. ECMO certified), if without this certification ECO needs to obtain this within 6 months of employment at site;
- Good working knowledge of WSH regulations and practices
- Good knowledge of various regulations, policies, statutory requirements, assistance schemes, and procedures related to the industry
