**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Network On-Site Technician (T1)**to join our Data Center operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure partners, oversee network operations, and support incident response to maintain the highest standards of uptime and efficiency across our Data Center campus.

This position may require **shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays**, to support 24/7 Data Center operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Infrastructure Oversight**:Regularly audit and review maintenance programs with Data Center infrastructure partners, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with standards.
- **Project Supervision**:Oversee and support Data Hall build-outs to confirm that all technical specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines are met.
- **Change Management**:Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities, minimizing potential disruptions to network operations.
- **Incident Response**:Assist with troubleshooting and remediation of network incidents, including external issues such as dark fiber cuts outside of campus.
- **Network Inspections**:Conduct routine supervision and inspection of the Data Center network infrastructure, identifying potential risks and ensuring systems remain robust.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:Deliver clear and comprehensive daily reports on network infrastructure performance, maintenance activities, and inspection results.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Proven experience in network operations, data center infrastructure, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of fiber optics, data hall operations, and network maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with change management processes and risk mitigation in mission-critical environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for network incidents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners.

**Preferred**:

- Experience working in large-scale Data Center environments.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to network infrastructure.Ability to create detailed reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
