In this newly created role, the People & Culture Partner, you will be part of a new created HR team to support the standalone business of Lloyds List Intelligence. You will be responsible for driving and leading the people plan for the APAC region, working across Singapore, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Australia
**Role Profile**
**Business Partnering**
- Provide coaching and advice to managers to help them reach appropriate decisions on all aspects of people management
- Be the first point of contact for all employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance management and redundancy.
- Ensure delivery and collaboration of people initiatives, including performance reviews, compensation planning, talent management and succession planning.
- Advise managers and colleagues on the terms and conditions of employment, policies, and practices across the different jurisdictions.
- Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner to develop the way we attract the top talent that we need to deliver the business strategy in the APAC region.
- Work with the People Operations Specialist and Payroll Specialist to ensure delivery of operations and payroll activity for the region.
- Working collaboratively with the wider People & Culture team and Legal Advisors.
**Management of Change**
- Work in collaboration with Interim Project Lead and VP People & Culture on the separation from Informa with the implement of new contracts of employment, benefits, policies, and practices across the region.
- Consulting and engaging with colleagues on the employment changes
- Whilst under the transition services agreement with Informa, work closely with Informa shared services centres, talent acquisition team and Group HR.
**Projects**
- Change management activity, including organisation change.
- Support the business in ad hoc or business focused initiatives including employee engagement, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Strengths
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice in the APAC region
- Strong relationship management across a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proven experience of managing employee relations cases
- Experience of managing disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes end to end
- Experience of leading organisational change, including redundancy processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to flex personal style in response to others or fit the situation
- Evaluates situations rationally and takes decisions based upon analysis
- A strong team player, delivering strongly whilst communicating effectively with the wider People & Culture team and business
- Resilient, able to deal with challenges and manage difficult situations firmly and sensitively
- Able to act within and interpret company policies and procedures and recommend solutions to add value
- Able to be proactive and propose initiatives to add value to the business
- Required to work on own initiative and proactively identify process improvements
