**1. Operating CNC Machines**:

- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, routers, and grinders, to perform precision machining operations.
- Load raw materials and parts onto the machine, ensuring they are properly secured.

**2. Programming and Setup**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
- Create and edit CNC programs using Mastercam software to produce parts according to specifications.
- Set up tools and fixtures required for machining processes.

**3. Quality Control**:

- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Perform regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances.

**4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations, tooling, programming, or software.
- Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance department.

**5. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including setup sheets, tool lists, and inspection reports.
- Document any changes made to CNC programs and setups for future reference.

**6. Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

**7. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate any production issues or delays to supervisors and relevant team members.

**8. Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements.
- Suggest improvements to processes, tools, and methods to enhance efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and experience with Mastercam software.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,700.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- CNC programming: 2 years (preferred)
