**About the Role**:
A rapidly growing, high-performance trading firm is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in C++ and a proven track record in high-frequency trading. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced crypto market-making environment. You will lead a globally distributed engineering team while also contributing directly to the codebase.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and grow a high-impact team of engineers focused on the full crypto trading lifecycle.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across technology, trading, and operations.
- Architect, design, and code high-performance C++ systems with a focus on low-latency execution and reliability.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the crypto markets, continuously improving strategies and infrastructure.
- Drive hiring efforts and mentor engineers, helping to shape a high-performance, flat-structured organisation.
- Play a key role in scaling the firm’s engineering footprint globally.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a senior engineer or engineering manager in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Strong C++ expertise is essential; experience with low-latency systems and performance optimisation.
- Understanding of crypto markets and/or a strong interest in digital assets and decentralised finance.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of building and scaling teams.
- Ability to contribute across the full development lifecycle: design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Effective communication skills and experience working in remote or globally distributed teams.
