**The Senior Security Engineer will support the day to day operations and development of the bank security suite of products with key objective in designing, developing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing the Bank’s infrastructure security capabilities which includes but is not limited to creation and maintenance of security hardening standards and ensuring strong governance over the management of various network security technologies**

**The scope of infrastructure will be the various network security technologies deployed in the Bank but may include other platforms as part of the evolution of the Group Information Security (GIS) service portfolio**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and establish network security standards to ensure the Bank’s networked environment secured in accordance with the regulatory, bank and industry standards.

Establish robust governance and oversight over changes being introduced to the following network security technologies which includes (but are not limited to):

- Firewalls.
- Browser Isolation.
- Web Proxy.
- Network Access Control.
- Network IDS/IPS.
- Act as the security engineering design authority to ensure changes to network security solution architecture is assessed and deviations managed in collaboration with the Enterprise Security Architects and Network Architecture and Engineering teams.
- Evaluate new network security technologies in conjunction with the Network Architecture and Engineering teams for adoption to improve the overall security posture in the Bank.
- Automation development on existing processes and develop contextual data sets, reports and dashboards to provide management and service insights.
- Provide support for all Audit and Regulatory requests.

**Others**:

- Communicate effectively with a variety of internal teams and third party service providers/vendors for the delivery of Infrastructure Security Engineering services.
- Capable of managing a variety of priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt driven environment with mínimal guidance or supervision.
- Work with internal technical teams and engineers in technical troubleshooting and forums.
- Available to respond to any requests and assist with troubleshooting activities along with proper documentation.
- Resolve standard/routine issues with no guidance and complex/unusual issues with mínimal guidance.

**Job Requirements**:
Education
- Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution.

**Technical Skills**:

- Overall experience 10 to 12 years of experience.
- 5 to 8 years experience in Network Security.
- Knowledgeable with various network security technologies (routers/firewalls) from an engineering and solution architecture perspective.
- Ability to document security standards, for network security technologies.
- Knowledgeable with cloud technologies (eg. AWS, Azure, M365, GCP).
- Analytical problem solver and good at troubleshooting technical issues.

- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Team player, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and across the organisation.
