As a Barclays Treasury Funding and Investment AVP you will join our Treasury and Funding and Investment Team (TFI) in managing the liquidity execution around BAU operation with other traders in Singapore for daily funding coverage for AUD/CNH/HKD/NZD/offshore INR/SGD globally and other G10 currencies. Your main focus will be to look at reducing overall cost of the liquidity by actively manage the liquidity pool and meet internal and external regulatory, liquidity ratio and stress test requirements.

**What will you be doing?**
- Providing daily liquidity management in Singapore/Hong Kong/Australia branch and BMBS, and BILIL
- Engaging in trading activities to enhance the returns of the (TFI) group, in order to help reduce the cost of liquidity for the bank
- Coordinating with local stakeholders such as market risk, product control group, operation, IT, financial control team as well as counterparty in London region
- Supporting senior traders around BAU operations for the daily funding coverage for AUD/CNH/HKD/NZD/Offshore INR/SGD globally and other G10 currencies
- Contributing to both regional and global initiatives focusing on Asia TFI risk, MTM, pricing curves, PnL
- Liaising with the local treasury units to ensure that the branch’s liquidity risks are reported accurately and managed in line with the group’s limit framework

**What we’re looking for**:

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including,, Basel III with a particular focus on the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and the Net Stable Funding Ratio
- Knowledge of macro markets/trading related concepts, Asian Currency markets accompanied with an understanding of global market factors that impact AUD/NZD/HKD/CNH/SGD
- Ability to build good relationships with key stakeholders and businesses
- Strong understanding of funding related concepts

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Attention to detail and an analytical character to manage liquidity metrics as consequences of breaches can be potentially large.
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- Ability to work independently but also part of a wider team
- Ability to maintain/improve various pricing, cash flow and pnl spreadsheets
