The Investment Services Private Markets Department (ISPVM) is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, finance, operations, tax, data management and analytics services, in the execution of private market investments in Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credit and Infrastructure. It is involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies, as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations

**Responsibilities**

Develop and manage the treasury function for the private markets. Key responsibilities include:

- **Treasury Operations**:

- Work closely with Group Treasury to manage liquidity and funding needs for the private markets’ investments
- Manage day to day treasury operations including funding, sweeping, cash reporting and forecasting
- Develop and/or improve strategies and processes to manage the funding and repatriation of funds from the countries that GIC has investments in
- Review and implement improvements to current operational processes
- **Cash and FX management**
- Monitor and optimise overall cash positions across private markets
- Explore and execute cash management and optimisation activities
- Engage business lines on cash management activities within the private market portfolios
- Maintain and refine FX framework and establish strong FX execution capability with custodians and FX counterparties
- **Bank relationship and account management**
- Manage and cultivate banking relationships with custodian and nostro banks
- Review and recommend efficient bank account management within the private markets
- Be the expert advisor on banking issues for the private markets
- **Collaborate with country controllers and operations team to deliver the treasury function’s objectives**:

- **Drive treasury projects and initiatives globally**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant treasury experience in a financial institution or a treasury center
- Strong technical knowledge around treasury operations, cash and FX management and bank account management
- Exposure to private markets (Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure etc.) is a bonus
- Proactive, organised and independent individual who is meticulous and enjoys working in high performing teams
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
- Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
