**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Join Hummingbird Bioscience on our journey as we transition from an early-stage drug discovery company to a global leader in drug development. Hummingbird Bioscience is seeking a Procurement Associate who will report to the Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain. In this role, you will support procurement activities to all Business Unit, ensure all RFQ activities executed and delivered in time. This role is based in Singapore with ample opportunity to grow with the company.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide procurement support to R &D team, other Business Unit, and process various RFQ activities, raise PO timely, and communication with suppliers to ensure accurate information is received, understood, and acted upon.
- Collaborate closely with supplier, warehouse & logistics team in coordinating the shipment/delivery traffic.
- To monitor open PO status to ensure supplier performance meeting the committed delivery dates until delivered to the warehouse site and deliver monthly reporting of PO status.
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships and collaborate with internal to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance requirement across business.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s in supply chain management or equivalent with at least 2 - 3 years of procurement, purchasing & inventory planning experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, independent and creative thinking, and strong business acumen.
- Organized, detail-oriented and a service mentality to internal stakeholders, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under mínimal supervision, and willingness to embrace changes and look for growth.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
