**What's the role?**
Comprised of former traders, portfolio managers, structurers, sales representatives, analysts, and more, our team of market and product specialists serve as the de-facto market and asset class authorities. Our team not only heightens our user base's experience and impacts sales revenue, it plays a vital role in improving the knowledge of our sales force and is a dedicated source of client feedback for our product development teams. The team interacts and engages with senior market players and regulators through both internal and external events, workshops and roundtables.
**We'll trust you to**:
- Utilise your strong market experience, detailed knowledge of industry trends, and demonstrated technical skills to drive revenue opportunities across our suite of solutions
- Act in an advisory capacity to our clients around the challenges that they face, and how they can use our products and technology to solve them
- Develop an in depth understanding of the competitor landscape and how this affects both internal and external customers
- Influence the direction of Bloomberg products through thought leadership, contribution on innovative ideas, and establishing relationships between Bloomberg's decisions makers and our clients
- Develop and establish your own road-map of initiatives based off your in depth understanding of markets, tools, and workflows that align with product, sales, and company goals, and then maintain check-in points, and self-report successes and challenges on these strategies
- Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives and goals
- Seek out additional ways to make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement
**You'll need to have**:
- At least 7 years of experience in Equity or Equity Derivatives within the buy-side or sell-side
- Experience in a client facing role and leading senior level client conversations gained within the past 5 years
- Emerging markets experience, in particular Thailand, Indonesia, or Vietnam
- The ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a simple and concise way to audiences both large and small
- Strong communication skills to be able to credibly lead senior level client conversations, gain insight into clients' enterprise workflow and promote Bloomberg solutions
- The business insight required to use your knowledge and experience to make good judgement and quick decisions to tangibly impact the commercial success of our business
- A reciprocal and commercial approach, along with the ability to operate within both departmental and company-wide initiatives, in a non-hierarchical structure without corporate titles
- Willingness to travel regularly across ASEAN
- Strong presentation, training, and communication skills in English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
