Position Overview

As an Architect within the IAM team, you will play a pivotal role in driving a security-first culture and leading the development and management of our membership service. This service is responsible for offering tenancy and a robust model to Autodesk products, enabling the management of user memberships for our industry cloud offerings. Additionally, you will spearhead the integration of AI/ML initiatives to achieve our business goals, enhancing operational efficiency and driving data-informed decision-making across the IAM platform. You will report to the Director of IAM Platform and this is a hybrid role in Singapore.

Responsibilities- Security Leadership: Foster a security-first culture within the IAM platform, ensuring all services are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards- Membership Service Strategy: Drive the technical vision and strategy for the membership service, ensuring it provides a scalable and flexible model for managing user memberships across Autodesk’s industry cloud products- AI/ML Integration: Lead the integration of AI/ML technologies within the IAM platform to enhance security posture, improve service delivery, and drive data-informed decision-making in alignment with strategic business objectives- Collaboration: You will build relationships with other organizations within Autodesk, namely and not limited to, Engineering, Product Management, and Industry Strategy to understand and influence customer/market needs in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and/or manufacturing space- Lead technical discussion and decision making across internal and external organisations and virtual teams- Evaluate the feasibility of alternative directions in future architecture/platform development through the creation of models and prototypes- Ensure that the selected architectures achieve the desired quality attributes, such as security, scalability, and resilience- Work closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate overall business needs, system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software services- Present to and gain insights and feedback from senior Autodesk management on key architectural initiatives- Key contributor to both near and long-term technology roadmaps for the business

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience- 10+ years of experience as a hands-on software architect-
- Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings- Demonstration of high levels of ownership and accountability and working closely with engineering teams to consistently deliver-
- A keen and applied understanding of latest paradigms in building scalable and reliable cloud native services such as microservices, event sourcing, concurrency, data persistence (RDBMS, NoSQL), data schema languages, REST/GraphQL APIs, container orchestration, security and privacy- Experience building fully automated development workflows, including validation, adherence to best practice guidelines, builds and deployments- Substantial experience architecting cloud services on top of AWS and one or more other IaaS/PaaS providers- Expertise with service monitoring tools like new relic or equivalent and ability to find root cause, set alerts & navigate through logs

Preferred Qualifications- Experience in software or high-tech or telecom industry- Knowledge of IAM platform #LI-PW1
