
Director, Ap Operation Lead

A strategic and results-driven professional to lead operations in the Asia Pacific (AP) region. The AP Operation Lead will coordinate all regional functions, including marketing, supply chain, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and contract manufacturing management team. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, driving market expansion, and aligning regional activities with the global organizational strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategic Leadership**
- Develop and execute the AP operations strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and establish priorities to achieve regional business goals.
**2. Operational Management**
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Select local partners with proper business model, assessing financial impact on business proposal and work with other functions on closing of agreement
- Alliance management between stakeholders, including upstream and downstream partners, via regular meetings, communications and workshops
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency across all functions. Track project progress per schedule.
**3. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight**
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company SOPs.
- Collaborate with regulatory, quality, medical and marketing teams to address market-specific requirements.
**4. Market Expansion and Partnerships**
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market growth in the AP region.
- Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including distributors, suppliers, and healthcare providers.
**5. Financial Accountability**
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring cost efficiency
- Monitor and report on sales performance and financial metrics
- Collect demand forecast, update monthly sales forecast, and drive sales performance review
**6. Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Act as a key liaison between regional teams and global leadership.Provide regular updates on market trends, operational challenges, and opportunities.
**Requirement**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, including finance, supply chain, new product launches, and distributor management.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven expertise in managing complex operations across diverse geographies.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse working environments.
