As a Solutions Architect at AWS you will work directly with customers. Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services with some of our most important customers.
Working alone, or in partnership with the sales, services, and business development teams you will be expected to:

- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
- Formulate and execute a technology strategy to meet a customer's business objectives through the adoption of AWS. Demonstrate an ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment
- Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
- Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support; and advocate on behalf of the customers

The variety of customers is huge as we work across multiple industries within the enterprise segment. On a daily basis you will work alongside people who are leading the way in designing cloud based architecture.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS and make recommendations on technical strategy, security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and sustainability. To do this you will collaborate with other teams such as account management, specialists, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
