Keppel Infrastructure (KI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation, a Singapore flagship multinational company providing solutions for sustainable urbanisation. KI provides solutions for some of the world’s most pressing challenges through its power & gas, environment and new energy businesses by leveraging its proprietary technology, strong technical expertise and proven operating capabilities.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
- Support O&M department in term of digitalisation effort such as GoArc, ePTW, daily operation processes.- Involved in daily O&M activities to provide new insights and suggestion to improve and streamline the workflow.- Shadow and support maintenance engineers to conduct boiler overhaul meeting, monitor and update the boiler overhaul activities progress, thus gaining project management skills.- Conduct problem analysis and troubleshooting on plant processes.- Support O&M in project Innovation (PI) and Safety Innovation Team Projects (SIT).- Engage and support O&M in different audits such as ISO50001, Energy Conservation Act, Carbon Pricing Act, ISO140001, ISO45001, ISO9001 etc.- Engage in and support overseas WTE projects.
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain first-hand practical insights and experience to the operations and maintenance of a waste-to-energy plant.-
- Work with highly experienced engineers and industry professionals on tasks, allowing for broadening of perspectives.- Grasp operational and financial concerns and considerations when implementing new projects to an existing operational plant.- Internalize and share key learnings to KI’s Management while bringing a fresh perspective on given discussion topics.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering and posses interest in WTE/Environmental solution. A double degree would be an advantage.- Posses critical and logical thinking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Teamplayer and posess leadership skills.- Disciplined and an independent inidividual.
