To fulfil the financial ambitions defined and outlined for the team by Head Trading Singapore. He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join us as a Junior FX Option Trader. The Junior FX Option Trader is member of the Trading Singapore team and shall endeavour to fulfil the financial ambitions defined and outlined for the team by Head Trading Singapore.

The Junior FX Option Trader reports to Head Trading Singapore.

**KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION**

**People **Management**
- Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment
- Motivate and provide guidance/feedback to other team members to improve overall performance

**Client Management (internal & external)**
- Work with clients to understand their needs and develop customized trading solutions
- Ensure client related events are appropriately captured and documented in relevant systems
- Maintain a strong understanding of market events and their impact on FX option trading

**Business Management**
- Work closely with senior traders to assist in managing and executing FX option trades for our clients
- Analyse market trends and data to identify profitable trading opportunities
- Develop and maintain trading models and algorithms to optimize trading strategies
- Independent trading revenue generation and to contribute to the overall global trading budget
- Regular review of the function’s practices to ensure efficiency and productivity at kept at optimal levels

**Compliance & Risk Management**
- Participate in risk management activities and adhere to established risk limits and guidelines
- Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
- Adhere to all relevant Local User Manuals
- Manage execution risks and ensure all trading activities are within defined limits
- Ensure that all approvals have been obtained for new counterparties which require credit limits prior to the commencement of trading
- Regular assessment of the function’s practices to mitigate associated risks arising out of and relating to the said function
- Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the function by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

- Able to quickly troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions

**Professional and Technical**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or computer science, with graduation date not more than 24 months ago
- CFA or Master’s in Financial engineering is a plus
- Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and genuine interest in financial markets in particular knowledge of FX option trading
- Good command of financial analytics skills especially in FX
- Strong understanding of the use of electronic pricing tools and dealing systems
- Strong IT knowledge, especially Excel. Programming skills an advantage.
- Represent the Bank’s and shareholders’ interests at all times
- CACS Papers 1 and 2, FMRP and preferably with CMFAS Modules 1B, 5, 6A
- Eligible for employment authorisation in Singapore

**Regulatory**
- MAS licensed representative
- Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements
- Cross border rules and regulations
