**About the Role**

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable financial insights, improve financial performance, and drive business strategy. You will oversee the analysis and reporting of financial information, ensuring alignment with targets and supporting decision-making at every level of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide high-quality financial insights and constructively challenge stakeholders to improve commercial outcomes.
- Engage with business units to analyse financial performance against targets, identify risks and opportunities and support forecasting.
- Support department managers in budgeting and interpreting monthly financial results.
- Work closely with Services team to ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition.
- Ensure timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead and manage changes to financial processes within and outside ERP systems, including training and user guidance.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including vendor payments and ad hoc payment runs.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports, general and subsidiary ledgers, including relevant reconciliations.
- Lead reviews of project performance, contracts, rates and effort calculations to provide strategic insights.
- Ensure accurate data flow between sales and finance systems and establish quality control measures to ensure quality data capture and compliance with processes
- Assist with both internal and external audit and tax return preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction to Finance team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytical support for reporting officer.
- Ad hoc reporting/matters as required.

**Personal requirements Qualifications and experience, skills and behaviours**

- Degree in Accounting; CA, ACCA or CPA is a plus.
- Experience with large ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams and external clients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. - Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Curious, not afraid to ask questions. Confidence to take responsibility, anticipate problems and take a proactive approach
