Iot Technical Specialist

In addition to being a hardware supplier, a large part of Intellistride's business involves end-to-end solutions for customer use cases, offering hardware, ancillaries, and a full solution stack that includes services and support.

**The Position**

Intellistride seeks an experienced IoT Technical specialist to support IoT business in the APAC market. Intellistride aims to provide end-to-end IoT Solutions to enterprises in the region. Solution Consultant - IoT will be responsible for designing and project-managing customer solutions. The key priorities of the role will be as follows:
**Understanding of other Key RFID supplier **hardware, firmware and software portfolio. Key vendors are Zebra and Nordics ID.

**Design IoT Solutions **based on Customer requirements. The IoT Technical specialist works across the Kathrein and non-Kathrein IoT product and services landscape and designs specialised solutions for the Customer's requirements. The Solution could incorporate third-party products and devices that can be integrated into the Kathrein Cross Talk IoT platform or other third-party Software systems.

**Understanding Customer Business Needs**: The position requires the person to understand current customer processes and Business needs. The designed solution should demonstrate considerable business improvement in financials and process efficiencies. Thus ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the solution that meets their business objectives.

**Documentation and Presentation to Customers**: The position requires the person to support the sales team in Interacting with the customer through presentation and documentation of customer solutions. The Solution consultant will be the owner of the solution and a single point of contact for all technical clarifications related to the Solution during the presales and Execution phases.

**Project Management of Projects**: The position will also require the IoT Technical Specialist to lead some early projects in a country during the execution phase.

**Leading/ Supporting POC/ Demo**: The position will require supporting specific customer demos of Solutions and running Proof of Concept (POC) for solutions. The customer will need to define the success criteria for the POC. The solution consultant must lead the technical changes required to make the POC successful.

**Interactions with the Regional Solutions Team and third-party solution components**:The specialist will work closely with the other experts in the Solutions team and, for third-party products, coordinate with vendors on all technical matters to ensure the completeness and success of solutions.

**Creation of White papers, Use case Studies, and blogs/ podcasts**: IoT Technical specialist from time to time will be required to work with the strategy team to create white papers and Use case study documents as Customer collaterals and for the website enrichment.

**Value-based templates and tools**: In the initial phases of the job, the IoT Technical Specialist is expected to create a Value-based selling template and tools to provide a standardised way of creating customer value for solutions. In the long run, this tool will provide a regular value-based argument for every designed solution.

**Partnerships, vendor management, and local testing**:Intellistride's philosophy is to incorporate devices from third-party vendors into the readers and Crosstalk software. This will require the specialist to do local testing of tags, sensors, and other devices, and interwork with the software platform.

**Knowledge of Kathrein Crosstalk Platform **—The IoT Technical specialist is expected to be an expert on the Crosstalk Platform, the central platform used in Intellistride for device management in RFID projects.

**Understanding of Software Process and Development Environment **—The IoT Technical specialist is expected to be familiar with Software development processes and environments.
- Hands-on experience on RFID equipment with solid exposure to at least 8-10 years of on-site work in implementing RFID systems
- Good knowledge of RF, sensor technologies, Software implementation, and understanding of services concept.
- Understanding of Kathrein and Zebra Hardware and Software Portfolio.
- Strong solutions background in IoT/ RFID/ Software.
- Good understanding of IoT Value chain, System Integration, and Software Sales concepts.
- Exposure in the execution phase of projects is a must for a rounded experience
- Deep HW & SW technical and execution background in RFID, Sensors, cameras, and IoT Platforms domain.
