Leads the Operations and L&D vision for the APAC region including the annual and longer term strategy and plan development. Provides functional strategic leadership and effectively influences internal customers and external customers, including large master franchisee organziations across the APAC region, to deliver excellent guest experiences, improve franchisee profitability and protect the brand for the long term.
- Strategic Thought Leadership - Strong strategic thinker who is adept at developing annual strategies and plans for the APAC region that are motivating, compelling and easily explained/understood. In addition, he/she should be a longer term thinker who also has an eye on the mid-term (2-3 year) with regards to how the brand needs to evolve and the role of Operations and L&D in this evolution. Finally, this person must be equally capable adapting a global program to the needs of the APAC region as they are developing a custom
- System Leadership / Influencing - Strong leader who is excellent at building relationships grounded in trust and mutual respect. Importantly, he/she needs to be capable to influence all parts of the system (internal and external customers) through their relationships, but also their strong communication skills. He/she will listen with the intent of helping and genuinely being open to the others' ideas. Most importantly, he/she will always seek win/win solutions to every opportunity/challenge.
- People - Leader who works through his team (direct regional reports and indirect BU operations/L&D teams) always. Is an excellent judge, recruiter and developer of talent.
- Business Results - Leader who understands that activity does not equal results and is focused on the key overall business results that they most impact (comp traffic/sales and net restaurant openings) by delivering against their key functional metrics (Guest Experience, Restaurant Excellence and Franchisee Unit Level Profitability).

**Skills, Abilities, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Ability to strategically lead and mentor region with a clear vision to address region's long term and short term opportunities.
- Self-Starter, Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership skills, Track record of driving strong business results. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills required. Enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
- Mature & supportive leadership style with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Preference for individuals who have held regional or national roles in FMCG/QSR and Franchise Models.
- Able to implement Learning and Development framework and requirements to business needs.

Batchelor of Business, Commerce or relatable field

10+yrs in Retail Operations and or training, with 3 or more years of experience in the restaurant and franchising industry
