Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you are required to develop and execute M1’s public communications initiatives and
stakeholder engagement activities. The primary responsibilities of this position are to increase awareness, build and sustain a good image of M1 through planned publicity campaigns and PR activities.

You would also be responsible for fostering effective communication within the organization, ensuring that employees are informed about company updates, policies, and initiatives. This may involve creating internal communication plans, managing company newsletters, organizing town hall meetings, and utilizing various communication channels to engage and connect with employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage media communications and engagements including media conference, interviews, and speaking engagements. This includes but is not limited to drafting media releases, speeches, presentations and Q&A.
- Handle day-to-day media inquiries.
- Building and strengthening relationships with key members of the media.
- Oversee the company’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and others.
- Monitor social media mentions and provide update to management.
- Coordinate the company’s communications during crisis.
- Assist in the preparation of company annual and sustainability report, and ensure it complies with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or its equivalent.
- 8-10 years working experience in the field of corporate communications, media relations, and/or journalism.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in handling crisis communications.
- Digital savvy, independent and resourceful.
- Familiarity with telecommunications or technology sector will be an added advantage
