Primary & Secondary School Teacher (Special Ed)

**Job description**:
**Job Duties & Requirements**:
- Full time position (Mondays-Fridays, 8am to 5pm)
- Develop and implement lesson plans according to the school’s Australian/International curriculum
- Ensure holistic student welfare
- Develop and maintain progress report & IEP writing
- Maintaining close relationship and communication with all stakeholders of the classroom/school
- Facilitating testing and marking of tests
- Manage student behaviours in classroom
- Carry out special duties (e.g., outdoor recreation area monitor, extra-curricular activities, holiday camps, school fairs, open houses)
- Mentor/support Teaching Assistant
- Modify lessons according to each child’s ability level
- Be knowledgeable on professional techniques and best practices in special education
- Lesson planning
- Adhere to school's SOPs
- Complete respective administrative duties (e.g., maintaining the communication booklet, attendance-record keeping, etc.)
- Maintain, adhere to and be up to date with Edutrust processes and systems
**Qualification/Experience requirements**:
- Must have at least a professional diploma/certificate (but Bachelor's degree is preferred) in education, special education, counselling, psychology, or related field
- Minimum 2 year work experience
- At least 2 positive references from most recent supervisors
