Iiot Engineer

The role of an IIoT Solution Engineer involves the planning, organization, and identification of technical risks. Additionally, they provide pre-sales support to regional sales and project engineering, focusing on tasks like designing site integration solutions, establishing connectivity for on-premises data, and creating gateways to the cloud. A crucial requirement for this role is hands-on experience in integrating Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) data. Working at client's office in Singapore is mandatory

**Workscope**:

- Create IIoT solution content and suggest integration strategies.
- Design solutions for integrating OT/IT data, ensuring bidirectional connectivity between Edge Gateway and on-premises servers or the Cloud.
- Perform assessments and testing, including site surveys and user evaluations, for data integration and demonstrations. This involves conducting site studies, front-end engineering design, implementation, and maintenance/services, with remote assistance from the Product Team.
- Assist in technical/solution pre-sales, contribute to design innovation, and develop realization plans, including coordination with the customer.
- Prepare technical presentations detailing the recommended solution for presentation to the customer and Business Development Manager.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years’ experience as an IIOT Engineer/IoT Solution Engineer
- Must speak English. Chinese speaking is a plus
- Hands-on complex data integration from various OEM Equipment. This include OT protocol such as serial, ASCII, RS485/RS232, modbus, profibus, telnet, ethernet, TCP/IP, etc
- Hands-on with LoraWan, MQTT, REST
- Networking: L3/L4 OT network structure and connectivity with Cloud including the security measure e.g DMZ, firewall
- Hands-on OSI PI System, PI Historian
- Familiar with various IoT gateway
- Hands-on with edge connectivity from OT device to extract the required data to on premises server or cloud. Well versed with Kepware or any other edge devices.
- Hands-on with various sensor connectivity
- Hands-on with Edge device include data buffering mechanism
- Familiar with Smart Farming is preferrable: Broiler Farm
