Guest Relations Host

To be the “brand ambassador” for the venue as first point of contact for all guests.
- Manage lobby reception duties.
- Promptly answers incoming calls to attend to phone inquiries.
- Ensuring all reservations are confirmed
- Updating guests seating becomes unavailable due to weather or other circumstance
- Maintains crowd control (especially during rainy weather).
- Communicates with respective outlets on guests’ ETA etc. via company’s handset.
- Any other tasks assigned.
**Job Scope**
Ability to understand reservations system, floor, and dining layout and assist food and beverage operations during peak periods.
Communicate with other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals.
Understanding of our food and beverage menus.
Ability to attend and participate in all required meetings.
Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
The ability to keep informed of special events such as Public Holidays, Easter, Christmas, New Year etc.
To meet VIP’s upon their arrival, engage them in conversation so as to build a strong rapport between themselves and the restaurant.
To be aware of top corporate and VIP guests of the restaurant, recognizing and welcoming them by name upon their return visits to the outlet.
**Job Requirement**:
- Front office or reception experience in hospitality or luxury retail industry
- Great communication and service skills.
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift period.
- High degree of accuracy and preservice
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Well-groomed and takes pride in looking good
