**Key Responsibilities**

1) Manage the hazard control plans and programs and ensure they are effectively implemented. Review periodically their effectiveness and update as required for continual improvement.

2) Prepare for and attend to audits by regulatory bodies and customers including follow-up actions required to close out the audits.

3) Manage customer complaints ensuring effective resolution through verification of the effectiveness of corrective and/or preventive actions.

4) Conduct routine GMP audits and plant inspections, scheduled internal food safety and quality audits, mock recalls and traceability exercises. Lead investigation of all quality deviations detected and work with operations to eliminate such deviations.

5) Conduct training (initial training and refresher training) on food safety and quality related programs.

6) Support new product development activities through

a. Participation and providing QA support to new product development projects

b. New raw material and supplier evaluation, including site audits where necessary.

7) Manage the Pest Control programs for the plant, collaborating closely with the Pest Control Service provider.

8) Quality Assurance support to Operations:
a. Support Operations improvement projects to ensure compliance to food safety and quality requirements.

b. Support Engineering Department in ensuring equipment calibration and verification program is maintained and up to date.

9) Quality assurance support to Planning and Purchasing Department to ensure existing and new material suppliers meet our Food Safety and Quality requirements.

10) Perform other tasks, roles or projects that may be assigned by the Quality Manager from time to time.

**Requirements**:
1. Applied Science Degree majoring in Food Science, Food Technology or related fields.

2. A good working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.

For Sr QA Exec:
3. A minimum of 3 years of relevant / similar working experience in a food manufacturing environment.
