**About the Role**

SIMPL is led by a specialized, driven, internationally experienced team based in Singapore. They focus on sourcing and evaluating impact investment opportunities, assessing and managing associated risks and impact of those investments, as well as executing and overseeing the transactions.

SIMPL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our dynamic team, who will be responsible for supporting the team in executing financial analysis, research, and operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or young professionals who are looking to start their careers in the financial services industry. The selected individual will play a key role in driving the company’s growth and expansion initiatives through various transactions and geographies.

**What You Will Do**
- Research & Market Insights: Perform industry and market research to support investment decisions.
- Monitoring Tasks: In charge of maintaining the monitoring file by uploading the files received from our current borrowers, ensuring accuracy, consistency and analysing trends and covenant compliance.
- Improve and Automate: Portfolio Analysis Monitoring (PAM) excel file to make it more automated. Continuously look for ways to improve our files and folders organization.
- KYC & AML Compliance: Responsible for our KYC processes as we align with new AML policies and onboard WorldCheck.
- Financial and Non-Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial and non-financial analysis of prospect data and investees info to support overall credit and impact assessments.
- Presentation Support: Contribute to the desk due diligence and prospects’/investees’ CAMs to be presented to the Credit Committee.
- Meeting Minutes: Responsible for the minute taking and maintenance of the folders.
- Communications: Assist with follow-up regarding operational and administrative correspondence with prospects and investees on administrative and deal information related matters, including taking meeting notes during client discussions.
- Operational Support: Assist in the execution of day-to-day operations, managing workflows, and ensuring that internal processes are running efficiently.

**What You Will Bring (Skills & Qualifications)**
- Undergraduate/post-graduate/professional degrees in fields such as finance, business administration, investments, economics/development, or other related disciplines.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience including internships or part-time roles.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and open to feedback, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management concepts is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with financial modelling tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English. Business-level verbal and written proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
