**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
Analysts in Vena Energy’s Investment team will support the execution of investment opportunities for Vena Energy in the renewable sector across Asia-Pacific.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the investment process for new investments which will include project due diligence, research, financial modelling and valuation;
- Involve with Vena Energy’s projects following the investment, including monitoring performance of key value drivers, performing regular internal valuations, assisting with the execution of on-going financing transactions and monitoring investment performance in general;
- Actively support all aspects of new platform investments, add-on investments, monetization and related financing;
- Process new investment opportunities, ranging from market assessment, to competitive positioning, to initial underwriting and deal structuring;
- Dedicate diligent efforts on pursued deals, including business diligence, risk underwriting, and managing external advisers;
- Build robust flexible financial models to support management investment decisions, focusing on analyzing project returns, optimizing capital structure, identifying risks and potential upside, and presenting analytical findings in a clear and concise manner;
- Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies on project models, annual budgets, and compliance issues.

**EDUCATION**:

- Bachelor’s degree and strong GPA. Major in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a business analyst, financial analyst or project team member in finance, economics, investment or actuarial fields.

**SKILLS**:

- Solid understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements and cashflows.
- Exceptional analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task and focus on delivering results.
- Highly entrepreneurial with a conscientious detail-oriented nature.
