**About our Team**

We are establishing an International AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) to accelerate Nomura's AI capabilities across our global operations. Building on the success of our GenAI platform, which serves Nomura users and delivers significant business value through both its UI and API capabilities, we are expanding our team to drive innovation in AI-powered solutions. Our COE works closely with the Japan AI COE and operates at the intersection of technology and business, developing and deploying AI solutions that generate revenue and improve operational efficiency across Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Corporate functions.

**Job Purpose**

As an AI Strategy and Operationalisation Analyst in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will help support the implementation and adoption of AI/ML solutions across the organisation while contributing to business management activities within a financial services context.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the execution of AI strategy initiatives and implementation plans
- Research industry trends and use cases to contribute to strategic discussions
- Project management support of wider team initiatives including budget tracking
- Assist with business case development by gathering requirements and financial information
- Help throughout the solution lifecycle from ideation to deployment
- Track project progress and help identify potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help ensure AI solutions comply with company policies, data governance frameworks, and financial regulations
- Assist with integrating AI solutions into existing business processes
- Support user adoption through training materials and change management activities
- Contribute to AI culture initiatives and capability building
- Architect complex Power BI dashboards that visualize AI performance metrics and business impact
- Develop custom visualization solutions that translate complex AI insights into actionable business intelligence
- Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance
- Create detailed budgeting models, financial forecasts, and ROI analyses for AI initiatives

**Qualification & Core Skills Requirement**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education level with 1-2 year of experience in managing AI and associated compliance and governance requirements / challenges and in supporting senior management in large Financial Services institutions to tactically deliver / integrate AI into business strategies.
- 1-2 years of experience in the management of financial and operational deliverables and accounting and project tracking software / systems (i.e. SuccessFactors Sprite, Budlight, PPM/BFS) within a global multi-matrixed and regulated environment.
- 1-2 years of experience Deep expertise in segmenting and preparing complex data sets, converting them into actionable and intelligible insights (using tools such as Tableau, PowerBi) appropriate for executive level audiences.
- 1-2 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or strategy support roles
- Exposure to technology transformation projects within large financial institutions
- Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and how AI and data are used
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel including financial modelling
- Strong experience in data visualization tools, particularly creation of Power BI dashboards
- Understanding of data governance principles and practices
- Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and ROI analysis
- Experience with data management and analysis techniques
- Experience in developing AI strategy frameworks and implementation approaches
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
