**Purpose of the Position**:
SCMP is the leading news publisher in Asia with a growing footprint across the globe. We now reach more than 30m readers per month. We have an opening for a Manager, Campaign Operations role within the Business operations team to propel our data led campaign management approach.
As the Manager, Campaign Operations you will report to the Associate director of operations, with the primary goal to ensure world class customer service and deliver campaigns with KPI beating results. You will also explore and pilot new marketing techniques to uplift the bar for digital & print campaigns. Proactively working to ensure that the tools and process in place are fit for purpose suggesting changes and enhancements where required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all campaigns are planned & booked accurately and meets the clients objectives, starting in the pre-sales stage all the way through to campaign conclusion
- Flawlessly execute campaigns while generating ideas on how to meet all booked revenue goals and ensure customer success
- Own day-to-day digital campaign material trafficking, scheduling, optimization of display, video
- Communicate with stakeholders on campaign progress or technical issues
- Monitor campaign performance including troubleshooting, reporting, pacing and tracking progress through mid-campaign analysis
- Drive process efficiency with the continuous review of work flows
- Manage and keep the operations department informed and up to date with advertising best practices through identification, documentation, and tracking industry trends and vendor/publisher/agency nuances.
- Create & review operational SLAs and workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained
- Manage the AD operations team and conduct performance reviews while always leading by example
- Create and provide operational readiness planning, guidance on new direct and indirect advertising initiatives and technical capabilities.
- Evaluate and enhances sales and advertisement operations workflow and practices and provide insightful tools and performance analysis on an ongoing basis
**Job Requirements**:
- Strong working knowledge of AdTech including - Google Ad Manager, social media platforms etc
- Great communication and be able to build working relationships both internally and externally
- Previous experience growing, leading and managing a team
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising operations and at least 4 years in management roles is a MUST
- Ability to guide and coach the team via experience and best practice
- Experience trafficking and optimization performance display, video and social campaigns
- Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills; sharp attention to detail
- Ability to present data in an effective, actionable manner and learn new software quickly
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Proficient in written and spoken English
Work location will be in either Hong Kong or Singapore office.
