As the continuous demands from global businesses, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IP Professional to support our growing business globally.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Based in Singapore, you will be part of the strategic layout of Haier Smart Home and manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio and drive the global patent strategy, including:

- Build up Haier Smart Home’s global intellectual property process, platform and specifications.
- Provide implementation guidance to various business platforms to ensure optimization and constant upgrades.
- Develop Haier Smart Home’s global intellectual property system, including SEP risk control system, copyright control system and office software risk control system to ensure the smooth operation of business.
- Handle IP affairs in major projects of Haier Smart Home and coordinate the layout construction of intellectual property protection and risk prevention & control.
- Set up trade secrete protection system for the Group.
- Responsible for global intellectual property disputes and global patent license negotiation.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Undergraduate LL.B. or postgraduate J.D. from a reputable university in Singapore, the UK, or a common law jurisdiction and valid practicing certificate in a common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Familiar with manufacturing-related intellectual property legal work with rich experience in intellectual property dispute resolution and patent licensing negotiations.
- Able to organize, prioritize, and manage large numbers of deadlines, in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving, and demanding industry and work environment.
- Highly responsive with a service-oriented attitude. Able to handle pressure and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Maker spirit and eager to continually learn and develop professionally.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise and manage internal and external Mandarin-speaking clients and customers.
