**About the role**

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow is currently looking for a Intellectual Property Executive to assist the lawyers on a range of Intellectual Property matters within the practice group.

All aspects of patent prosecution work in Singapore and abroad, including the following.
- Conducting prior art/patentability searches.
- Coordinating filings in other jurisdictions.
- Calculating, docketing and tracking deadlines.
- Reviewing specifications and official communications, including search and examination reports.
- Assisting with performing patent due diligence
- Communicating and advising clients on patent laws and procedures.
- Advising on strategies and courses of actions available to clients.Preparing fee estimates and client correspondences.

Manage trademark registration portfolios:

- Preparing costs estimates;
- Conducting searches;
- Advising on strategies and courses of action available to clients;
- Advising on office actions and drafting submissions;
- Handling legal related queries; andCoordinating global trademark filings.

Assist with recordal projects, opposition matters, IP due diligence exercise, opposition matters, business development activities, etc.

Time entry and billing.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
- Experience in trademark registration and patent prosecution work;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Self-starter who is able to demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude to their work
- Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and team spirit
- High degree of attention to detail and excellent project management skills
- Contributes to the effective functioning of the team.
