With Nestle, you are enabled and encouraged to grow not only as professionals, but also as people. **A day in the life of an Electrical Engineer** - Take on role as Electrical / Instrument / Control Systems Engineer in Jurong factory to manage and administer these equipment / systems with technical competence to meet company operating plans, budgets and goals. - Define, propose and monitor the plans and objectives of the electrical team in accordance with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles and the Electricity & Automation - Manufacturing Execution System (E&A-MES) activities as outlined in the Nestlé Engineering Excellence (NEE) master document. - Responsible for the smooth & safe operation of all factory electrical equipment installations / devices and control instrumentation, electronic weighing devices, lightning conductor system, automation, process control software, laboratory equipment etc together with the ancillary equipment. Institute continuous improvements to existing process instrumentation / control & electrical installations for improved performance and efficiency. - Manage and maintain all metal detectors in factory. - Comply with statutory / authority requirements for all factory electrical and weighing installations / devices. - Lead and coordinate the electrical team and maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve mission and objectives. - Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources relating to the electrical team. Facilitator of CDM/TPM PM Pillar" - Undertake improvement jobs, minor and major projects. Propose and control the electrical component of the site M&I budget and any capital projects. - Responsible for the management of the factory Quality Monitoring Scheme - Instrumentation. - Efficient operation / calibration of electrical equipment installations / devices & control instrumentation, electronic weighing devices, lightning conductor system, automation, process control software etc. Ensure spare parts availability for relevant equipment to prevent equipment disruptions. - Equipment expected to be in good & safe operational conditions to ensure no disruption of services available for production. - Comply with statutory / authority requirements for all factory electrical and weighing installations / devices. Safe working condition of all electrical installations / equipment. Accuracy of weighing equipment in accordance with requirements. - Maintain operational records of electrical equipments / instruments etc. Maintain electrical/instrument/process control drawings. - Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, instrument & control systems / devices, electronic weighing devices, lightning conductor system, process control software, laboratory equipment etc together with their ancillary equipment, electrical equipment, instrument & control systems / devices, weighing devices, process controls are maintained in good & safe operational conditions and be available for production. - Preparation & maintenance of electrical / instrument M & R budgets. Expenditures within approval budget. **What will make you successful** - Diploma in Electrical / Instrument Engineering. Degree in Electrical / Instrument Engineering preferred - Minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience in the food industrial /manufacturing sector or similar field - Practical experience within the areas of specialization - Commitment to a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, safety, compliance and quality
