About the role

Sun Ace Kakoh (Pte) Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Jurong East West Region. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and components that power our operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Transform Manufacturing Systems - Design and implement sophisticated electrical systems that power our state-of-the-art production lines, directly enhancing operational efficiency
  • Lead Critical Problem Resolution - Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose complex electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity
  • Drive Technological Integration - Work with cutting-edge Automation and SCADA systems to optimize manufacturing processes and implement smart factory solutions
  • Ensure Operational Excellence - Execute preventive maintenance strategies that maintain peak system performance while extending equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines - Partner with production and engineering teams to implement innovative electrical solutions that address evolving manufacturing challenges

What we're looking for

  • Educational Foundation - Diploma in Electrical Engineering required; degree holders are encouraged to apply
  • Industry Experience - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, with chemical industry experience highly valued
  • Technical Proficiency - Demonstrated success with motor control systems, three-phase 415V installations, PLC Ladder programming, and Industrial Process Control (IPC) systems
  • Software Capabilities - Practical experience with AutoCAD for electrical diagram creation and MATLAB for system analysis and simulation
  • Leadership Potential - Natural problem-solver with the initiative to lead projects and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Safety Commitment - Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and compliance
