**Primary School Assistant Teacher**

**Start date: August 2025**

The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for an experienced Primary School Assistant Teacher position for Grades 1-5.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist teaching in primary classrooms:

- Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
- Helping to prepare lesson materials
- Filing and organising student work and resources
- Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes

**Requirements**:
- Be proficient in oral & written communication and must have an excellent command of both the English & German Language as you will be expected to work with English and German speaking students
- Tertiary education qualifications a plus
- Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
- Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
- Flexibility, organisation skills and a caring attitude
