Purchasing & Logistics Assistant

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Liaise with Vendors on purchase.
- Negotiating credit terms and pricing.
- Processing of purchase requisitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key principals and suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers on delivery lead time, monitor & expedite delivery schedules.
- Ensure quality, shipping documentation and other logistics processes are in order.
- Liaise with sales team for sales forecast and project team for planning of stock.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, security and storage of stock.
- Participate in inventory stock check.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Min.3 year of logistics & warehousing experience preferred.
- Proactive, positive and responsible individual.
- Possess a forklift license (preferred)
- A team player with good interpersonal and able to communicate effectively in English is essential.
