**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively monitor and analyze compliance, operational and other risks of business in SFDA and take lead and initiative to resolve or manage any issues and potential issues.
- Proactively cooperate or assist with each group in SFDA on developing new business and new scheme in terms of compliance, operational and other risks.
- Plan and implement compliance plans and procedures in SFDA.
- Provide advisory guidance and assistance to SFDA staff and Compliance Coordinators and Compliance Assistants of various SFDA Groups on compliance and regulatory related matters.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Group Head and/or Management or ad-hoc project.

**Job Requirements**
- Recognised university degree with at least 10 years of equivalent experience in the banking industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and recent developments, including broad knowledge of AML including KYC and sanctions.
- Able to guide on interpretation and implementation of laws and regulations to ensure the bank is complying with letter and spirit of the law.
- Working knowledge of SFA/FAA is an added plus.
- Meticulous, with good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Hands on, practical and with a balanced mindset, and able to interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Works independently as well as a team with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
