**JOB PURPOSE**

Supports the GCCIO and Group Clinical Informatics (GCI) in in its strategic development and implementation of programs and projects, in line with NHG’s vision and mission. Manages and coordinates large and/or complex Healthcare IT Programs, focusing on Vendor and Partner commitment, Governance and Processes on the overall project rollout, ensuring integrity in the alignment to scope, timeline, budget and system readiness aspects of the Next Generation EMR/Clinical IT experience across the cluster.

**MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Programme Management/ Delivery/ Post-Live - 50%**
- Be one of key leaders of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) project overseeing but not limited to the areas in Go Live sequence, project timeline, testing, integration, cutover, change requests management and business continuity assessment.
- Formulate strategy to facilitate and support cut-over, integration of legacy systems to new systems mainly NGEMR, and promote user adoption.
- Collaborate with key institutional stakeholders across NHG and IT partners to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions related to NGEMR.

**NGEMR/Clinical IT Governance Portfolio - 20%**
- Overall in charge of governance, audit, risk and compliance management activities for EMR access.
- Ensure NGEMR User & Access team and respective team Application Analyst build and test the system as guided/requested by stakeholders.
- Lead effort in setting up frameworks for Clinical Informatics Analysts / Process Analysts / Institutional Office of Clinical Informatics.
- Establish and communicate Best Practices, Processes and Frameworks (e.g. change requests, ITIL, scores and scales) arising from EMR implementation to ensure a structured flow of information and communications across programs and projects within organization, and track the adherence to the established processes

**Team and Operational Portfolio - 20%**
- Provide direct and indirect operational leadership and oversight to a team of staff to control and ensure smooth running of the blue-print, work-plans and projects.
- Partner with critical stakeholders to create a vision for NHG Clinical Informatics roadmap. Guide the roadmap development to maximise operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Assume the portfolio of leading, teaching and guiding junior project executives.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Education/Training/Experience**
- Healthcare/IT professionals who take an interest in informatics and/or governance to enable support & improve healthcare.
- Preferably a tertiary degree from a recognised university.
- Preferably 8-10 years of relevant working experience in a healthcare setting with clinical or healthcare informatics/healthcare IT/ governance experience, with at least 5 years in a team management role.

- Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to clearly communicate results.
- Ability to lead others and to communicate the importance of training to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large scale and complex tech development projects with tight timelines and multiple dependencies.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills; ability to sequence activities logically.
- Proven track record of leading diverse project teams and managing senior stakeholders.
- Professional certification in Project Management, ITIL or equivalent areas would be advantageous.
