**Role overview**
As Director of the Corporate Resilience competence centre, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Risk in defining and deploying the company resilience roadmap within the wider context of ST’s strategic imperatives and Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This involves leading the Corporate Resilience team and working with a global network of resilience professionals and a wide array of internal and external stakeholders in order to contribute to ST’s Resilience objectives:
- Ensuring main sites remain operational
- Selectively developing back-up options across internal and/or external sites
- Ensuring continuity of full supply chain (esp. third parties)
- Managing the scrutiny from clients and other stakeholders
- Improving company-wide capability to respond to crises
This position requires a deep understanding of Resilience management (covering both business continuity and crisis management), the semiconductor industry, and strong networking and communication skills.
**Tasks include supporting the Head of Corporate Risk and leading the Resilience Competence Centre in**:
Defining and deploying the Resilience Roadmap
- Enhance and maintain the “Resilience Management System” (procedural framework incl. policy, SOPs, organisational specifications, work instructions, methodology toolkit ).
- Embody the “tone from the top” in relation to resilience and lead by example. Build relationships with internal business areas and clients to facilitate resilience planning efforts and promote synergies. Lead a network of geographically dispersed professionals / champions embedded in other organisations / functions
- Maintain the associated ISO 22301 certification.
- Contribute to performing the corporate Business Impact Analysis.
- Create reports and presentation materials to communicate Enterprise Resilience status and meaningful metrics to relevant management levels.
Contributing to resilience objective 1: Ensuring main sites remain operational
- Review assessment of site exposures (e.g. risk assessments, business impact analyses).
- Provide factual transparency on exposures and readiness levels (Site Resilience Index).
- Assist in definition of relevant improvement plans and monitor related capex process.
- Assist in definition of Business Continuity solutions (collected in BCPs).
Contributing to resilience objective 2: Selectively developing back-up options across internal and/or external sites
- Support relevant organisations (Product Groups, Supply Chain and Manufacturing) in providing visibility, defining medium term trajectory and its implementation
Contributing to resilience objective 3: Ensuring continuity of full supply chain
- Support relevant organisations (GPO, WFO, GOBM, GLWO ) in improving visibility on third party resilience, and in driving improvement over time
Contributing to resilience objective 4: Managing the scrutiny from clients and other stakeholders
- Coordinate response to resilience-related queries from external stakeholders (customers, analysts, etc.) either questionnaires and surveys or “crisis event” related communication
- Support relevant organisations (Sales & Marketing, External Communications, Product Groups, CSR )
Contributing to resilience objective 5: Improving company-wide capability to respond to crises
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of actionable plans / playbooks to ensure the company is prepared to respond to and recover from events / crises on a global basis, including the definition and deployment an adequate training and simulation programme
- In the event of a crisis or potential crisis, facilitating adequate response and recovery in order to protect ST’s people, operations, and reputation:
- Support in assessing event
- Support activation of Crisis Management Teams
- Support in coordinating response to event, as well as recovery / continuity
- Ensure that lessons are drawn from the way events are handled
**About You**
Education and certification
- University degree or advanced degree. Degree related to Risk Management or Resilience an advantage.
Experience
- In the Risk Management / Business Continuity / Crisis Management field
- In implementing, auditing or maintaining relevant ISO certific
