About the Team
BytePlus is a business unit in ByteDance and provides intelligent platform services powered by industry-leading research in emerging technologies. From data analytics tools to computer vision software, BytePlus solutions enable businesses to reach their potential. To help businesses access BytePlus technologies, the Platform team delivers a reliable and easy-to-use platform that businesses can use to discover, learn more about, purchase, and use BytePlus solutions. Our platform makes it radically safe and effortless for technology professionals to consume solutions like BytePlus Recommendation, BytePlus Effects, and BytePlus Data Intelligence to grow their businesses.

As a PM for BytePlus Recommend, you will support the Product Management team in building the leading recommendation product on a global scale. As a Product Manager, you will understand market trends, opportunities, and customer requirements and then work closely with other product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive the full product life-cycle, including but not limited to market analysis, product positioning, value proposition, and product realization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with businesses to understand their needs and build a product roadmap
- Conduct research, analyze market trends to develop product vision
- Collaborate with Engineer and UX design team to launch new products and features, and quickly iterate
- Break down complex challenges and drive product improvement to meet customers expectations
- Define the product GTM strategies together with internal stakeholders
- Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred
- 5+ years engineering or product management experience in Technology/Internet/Enterprise Software companies
- Hands-on experience in Recommendation/Search. Have good understanding of ML products and technologies
- Experience in driving product vision and designing go-to-market strategy
- Excellent communication skills and able to manage stakeholders across businesses and levels
- Passionate, open-minded, and comfortable to work with ambiguity and change in the fast paced industry
