To be successful in this role, you must be a proactive individual who is not only independent, but a strong team player. You will also be expected to communicate promptly and effectively as you collaborate with colleagues across businesses and time zones.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for various business lines
- Routinely audit the compliance program to ensure the Firm is meeting its responsibilities
- Research new rules and laws to ensure the Firm implements reasonable and effective compliance programs
- Assist with responses to inquiries from regulators and trading venues
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring, report on findings, providing recommendations and implementing changes where appropriate
- Review alerts generated by the surveillance system and advise on any changes to reports as required
- Monitor regulatory developments and communicate applicable details to relevant teams within the group
- Provide compliance guidance on trading and business initiatives
- Complete other ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned

**Profile**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, law, or a related field
- Fluency in English required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- 5-10 years trading compliance experience, including experience dealing directly with various APAC regulators (Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia)
- Firm understanding of risk controls and monitoring, and how they are applied to the compliance program
- Experience in the creation, development, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures for new initiatives
- Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work independently, with judgement to involve management when required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
- Skilled in organization and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working in a technical environment
