Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager is responsible for a team of drivers to transport our Company’s products, and warehouse assistants handling the warehouse operations efficiently and safely. Reporting to the COO, his/her duties include:
- overseeing the morale and training of the drivers and warehouse assistants
- control logistics work processes for better efficiency
- manage logistics administrations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all drivers’ and warehouse assistants’ welfare and professional training.
- Ensure drivers’ and warehouse assistants’ adherence to the Company’s logistics SOPs, as well as all respective field of regulations.
- Manage the administration of all equipment under his/her charge.
- Establish efficient transportation routes and schedules.
- Establish efficient warehousing workflows and processes.
- Recommend/advise in the purchase/scrap of vehicles/equipment to improve/streamline equipment fleet.
- Establish/enhance logistics reports.
- Ensure all logistics equipment and vehicles are in good and serviceable condition.
- Oversee the arrangements in the event of breakdown, accident, or scheduled inspections, non-delivery, and no show of drivers.
- Manage all customer complaints related to logistics - delivery and warehouse.
**Competencies**:
- Good leadership skills, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of best industry practices in transportation and warehousing.
- Understands Fleet Management Systems and Warehousing Management Systems.
**Requirements**:
- At least a Diploma in Logistics Management or related field.
- Previous relevant working experience in a similar industry.
- Possess relevant commercial driver’s license.
