**SCOPE OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the Head of Life Operations, the Underwriting Manager will perform new business underwriting assessment, achieve underwriting KPI through active case management and partake in underwriting related projects.
- Perform new business underwriting assessment within assigned authority, achieving KPIs through active case management.
- Negotiate with reinsurers for best offer for benefit of customers during facultative underwriting.
- Manage and build, a proactive and productive relationship with various sales channels
- Review on underwriting rules and update in AIS
- Support UAT when required
- Participate in product development, data analysis and preparation of management report
- Review and identify areas of process improvement Any other projects as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 5 years underwriting experience
- Professional qualification in Life Insurance
- Experience in product development, business administration and client relationship management
- PC literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to define, research and resolve problems
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadlines Committed, take ownership and results-driven
