Singapore SKYMECH AUTOMATION & ENGINEERING PTE LTD Full time

Responsible to lead and manage the entire software & control team comprising of in-house software & control engineers as well as external agencies to ensure a smooth work flow in the entire project implementation ranging from conceptualization, quotation, planning, costing, scheduling, designing, assembly, quality assurance, debugging, commission, delivery, and to conduct machine factory acceptance test (FAT) with the customer and the necessary follow-up.

Oversee and review the assigned electrical & control design capabilities and performance for the respective projects to meet the requirements of customers.

Establish and delegate assignments & responsibilities to software team members. Manage & coach software members to insure the skills required for each project correspond with the team members assigned to the tasks

Ensure that all design work (including control panel design and electrical control) are checked and within the project budget and customer’s specification.

Review and co-ordinate with the in-house SCM team on inventory control for parts, if any, and shipment & delivery requirements.

Provide mentoring & guidance to the software & control team members, and subsequently, review and follow-up on the respective member’s performance.

Highlight and report to the HOD & management team on the respective project progress and development at stipulated intervals.

Ensure that all project documents, drawings and materials (soft & hard copies) are updated and appropriately documented and compiled accordingly to the respective quality standards and procedures
