**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Effective sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for the best value, lead time, and terms.
- Sourcing and establishing relationships with suppliers in Malaysia and China.
- Able to negotiate with new and existing suppliers to ensure supply of material in the most cost-efficient manner within the agreed price target and budget.
- Compare pricing and get the most economical quote from manufacturers and suppliers for the provided specification or brand by the client.
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers for long-term business benefits.
- Monitor purchasing trends to avoid over purchases.
- Working closely with purchasing team to track and monitor the delivery of purchased items within the agreed schedule and confirm delivery of items per agreed specifications by respective vendors.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement position.
- Experience in sourcing or procuring with overseas suppliers with good negotiation and communication skills.
- Meticulous and strong attention to detail to ensure correct capture and issuing of orders
- Should have excellent working knowledge in using basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
