**What you will do**:
The Intern is responsible for presales support to Sales team including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and/or presentation with customers. Perform design and prepare engineering drawings and documentation as per customer’s/project requirements. Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements. Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements.

**How you will do it**:

- Provide pre-sales support to Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and/or presentation with customers
- Perform design and prepare engineering drawings and documentation as per customer’s/project requirements
- Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements
- Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements

**What we look for**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Built Environment
- Willing to learn Fire Detection, Protection & Suppression systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
- Resourceful, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
- Able to work independently and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months is preferred

**Learning outcomes**:
The intern will have a better understanding of Fire Protection System and Fire & Gas Detection system operating principles and perform program logic and matrix. The intern will be equipped with knowledge on Fire Protection System and Fire & Gas Detection which will eventually gave them the product knowledge to excel in their work. The intern will be able to understand and perform software programming of JCI's Fire Detection panels and hydraulic calculations for fire mechanical systems using the p rogram like MZX Consys (TYCO fire detection software).
